Chef Steven just returned from a visit with his family down South, but we’re glad to have him back in the Metropolitan kitchen. We have some really great specials on the menu this week in honor of his return.

Our Foodie Burger is a corned beef reuben burger with seared corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, grilled onions and homemade Thousand Island dressing. The flatbread of the week is a smoky buffalo chicken flatbread with blue cheese sauce, smoky Sriracha buffalo chicken, shredded carrots and celery, and mozzarella. We just got some nice oysters from the Miles River near St. Michaels.

We’ve also been slow cooking some authentic pork carnitas with Guajillo Chiles this week. Also on the menu, chimichurri steaks, lump crab hush puppies, Littleneck clam chowder and chipotle black bean chili.

We’re also working on some new lunch combos to go on the menu in addition to some new dinner additions to our fall menu. We hope to see you for either lunch or dinner (or both if you please)!
